That's why, as part of our commitment to meeting your expectations, we have set up (and we had a privacy policy before the much anticipated GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation ;-)) a customer personal data protection charter. This charter formalizes our commitments to you and describes how the AccorGroup uses your personal data.

INTRODUCTION

  1. Llevant Properties, and its group companies ("we" or "us") take the privacy of your information very seriously. This policy explains how and for what purposes we use the information collected about you via this site, mobile application or any other Llevant Properties method (referred to below as the "Site"). Please read this privacy policy carefully.

  2. If you have any queries about the policy, please get in touch with us using our contact details and we will do our best to answer your questions.

  3. This notice applies to personal data provided by our users, our users include our Homeowners, guests staying at a Homeowner’s property or other users. In this notice "you" refers to any individual whose personal data we hold or process (other than our staff and contractors).

PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED

1. We will collect the following personal information from you:

  • Certain information required to register with the Site including first and last name, your address and date of birth together with some basic security information ("Registration Information");

  • If you are a Homeowner, information about your property and contact and personal information we need in order to assist with and manage bookings on your behalf ("Property Information")

  • Details of any bookings you make or receive through the Site including ID information (either through us or through third parties who use the Site as a booking platform) ("Booking Information");

  • Your email address and password ("Login Information");

  • Billing information such as your credit card number and expiry date ("Billing Information");

  • A record and details of any correspondence or communication between you and us or relating to any complaint submitted to us ("Communication Information")

  • Information we may hold for marketing purposes such as email addresses and some information about your personal circumstances (e.g. your location) ("Marketing Information")

  • Other technical information you generate as a result of site interactions including your visits to the Site, the resources and pages you access and any searches you make ("Technical Information").

2. In collecting information we abide by the following principles.

  • Transparency: When collecting and processing your personal data, we will communicate all information to you and inform you of the purpose and recipients of the data.

  • Legitimacy: We will collect and process your personal data only for the purposes described in this policy and the Charter.

  • Relevance and accuracy: We will only collect personal data that is necessary for data processing. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the personal data we hold is accurate and up to date.

  • Storage: We will hold your personal data for the period necessary for processing the same in compliance with the provisions of the law.

  • Access, rectification, opposition: You may access, modify, correct or delete your personal data. You may also oppose the use of your personal data, particularly to avoid receiving sales and marketing information.

  • Confidentiality and security: We will ensure reasonable technical and organizational measures are in place to protect your personal data against alteration or accidental or unlawful loss, or unauthorized use, disclosure or access.

  • Sharing and international transfer: We may share your personal data within the Llevant Group or with third parties (such as commercial partners and/or service providers) for the purposes set out in this Charter. We will take appropriate measures to guarantee security when sharing or transferring such data.

3. Although it is not compulsory to give us this information, if you do not then you cannot register as a member of the Site or make a booking for accommodation with our Homeowners.

ACCOR’TEN PRINCIPLES FOR PROTECTING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

In accordance with applicable regulations, in particular the European General Data Protection Regulation, we have instituted the following ten principles throughout the AccorGroup:

1.. Lawfulness: We use personal data only if:

  • we obtain the consent of the person, OR

  • it is necessary to do so for the performance of a contract to which the person is a party, OR

  • it is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation, OR

  • it is necessary in order to protect the vital interests of the person, OR

  • we have a legitimate interest in using personal data and our usage does not adversely affect the persons’ rights

2. Fairness: We can explain why we need the personal data we collect.

3. Purpose limitation and data minimisation: We only use personal data that we really need. If the result can be achieved with less personal data, then we make sure we use the minimum data required.

4. Transparency: We inform people about the way we use their personal data

5. We facilitate the exercise of the people’s rights: access to their personal data, rectification and erasure of their personal data and the right to object to the use of their personal data

6. Storage limitation: We retain personal data for a limited period

7. We ensure the security of personal data, i.e. its integrity and confidentiality.

8. If a third party uses personal data, we make sure it has the capacity to protect that personal data.

9. If personal data is transferred outside Europe, we ensure this transfer is covered by specific legal tools.

10. If personal data is compromised (lost, stolen, damaged, unavailable…), we notify such breaches to the respective country’s responsible authority and to the person concerned, if the breach is likely to cause a high-risk in respect of the rights and freedoms of this person.

WHAT DATA IS COLLECTED

At various times, we may collect information about you and/or the persons accompanying you, including the following:

  • Contact details (for example, last name, first name, telephone number, email)

  • Personal information (for example, date of birth, nationality)

  • Information relating to your children (for example, first name, date of birth, age)

  • Your credit card number (for transaction and reservation purposes)

  • Information contained on a form of identification (such as ID card, passport or driver licence)

  • Your membership number for the Accor loyalty program or another partner program (for example, an airline loyalty programme) and information related to your activities within the context of the loyalty program

  • Your arrival and departure dates

  • Your preferences and interests (for example, smoking or non-smoking room, preferred floor, type of bedding, type of newspapers/magazines, sports, cultural interests, food and beverages preferences, etc.)

  • Your questions/comments, during or following a stay in one of our establishments

  • Technical and location data you generate as a result of using our websites and applications.

The information collected in relation to persons under 16 years of age is limited to their name, nationality and date of birth, which can only be supplied to us by an adult. We would be grateful if you could ensure that your children do not send us any personal data without your consent (particularly via the Internet). If such data is sent, you can contact the Data Privacy department (see clause "Your rights" below) to arrange for this information to be deleted.

In order to meet your requirements or provide you with a specific service (such as dietary requirements), we may have to collect sensitive information, such as information concerning race, ethnicity, political opinions, religious and philosophical beliefs, union membership, or details of health or sexual orientation. In this case, we will only process this data if you provide your express prior consent.

RECEIVING EMAIL PROMOTIONAL COMMUNICATIONS

At Llevant Properties, we value our customers and respect your privacy. We won't share your email address with unrelated third parties for their marketing purposes. We want to communicate with you and provide exciting content and offers, but only if you want to hear from us.


We comply with the Federal laws in sending offer driven emails. If you prefer not to receive promotional information from us, please let us know by clicking here to write an email Llevant Properties Customer Care. In the future, you'll also be able to call us.


Please be sure to include your full name and the email address you used when you registered. If you ask us to remove your name and email address from promotional lists, we'll maintain your name in a "Do not contact" file to ensure that we can honor your request. It may take up to 10 days to process your email request, during which period you may continue to receive communications from Llevant Properties. If you have multiple addresses you will need to Opt-Out for each address in order to be removed from our database.

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

Llevant Properties is the sole owner of the information collected. When you contact us to request assistance in selecting a villa we require your contact information in order to respond to your inquiry. If you wish to subscribe to our newsletters, we ask for information such as name and e-mail address. Every newsletter we send includes easy-to-use removal instructions and complies with all Federal regulations for such communications.

RESERVING A VILLA

When renting a villa we collect your contact and credit card information over the phone. This information is used strictly for billing purposes and to process your reservation. If we have a problem processing your reservation, your contact information is used to get in touch with you. Your information will only be disclosed to third parties for the purpose of securing your reservation.

DATA SECURITY

Llevant Properties takes appropriate technical and organizational measures, in accordance with applicable legal provisions (in particular: Art. 32 GDPR), to protect your personal data against illicit or accidental destruction, alteration or loss misuse and unauthorized access, modification or disclosure. To this end, we have taken technical measures (such as firewalls) and organizational measures (such as a user ID/password system, means of physical protection etc.) to ensure the ongoing confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of processing systems and services. In relation to the submission of credit card data when making a reservation, SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption technology is used to guarantee a secure transaction. Organizational measures ensure the security of the processing.

We may modify this charter from time to time. Consequently, we recommend that you consult it regularly, particularly when making a reservation at one of our establishments.
